Jeffrey Z. Martin

Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Jeffrey “Jeff” Z. Martin is senior vice president and chief technology officer of HASI (NYSE: HASI), a leading investor in climate solutions. He joined HASI in 2017 and is responsible for the company’s overall technology platform, cybersecurity framework, IT general controls, and compliance. Additionally, Mr. Martin is focused on driving innovation leveraging business intelligence and intelligent automation. Prior to that, he served as vice president of information technology and chief security officer at Congressional Bank where he oversaw all IT operations.

For 13 years prior, Mr. Martin was director of information technology at American Capital and then Ares Management, where he led the development and implementation of financial systems supporting pipeline management, portfolio management, and asset valuation. Mr. Martin is an avid volunteer within his community and with the Maryland 4-H Youth Development Program. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Maryland.
